An antique sterling silver campaign folding cup in a fitted leather case. This ingenious flat fold beaker is made in 3 shaped pieces which concertina up into a watertight cup*. Finely engraved with arched panels containing beautiful bouquets of flowers and to the front there is a decorative intertwined monogram. Gilded interior. Contains 150 ml (first joint - 50 ml). Weight 124 grams, 3.9 troy ounces. Height 3.5 cms (flat), 8.5 cms (total). Diameter 5.5 cms (top), 5 cms (bottom). All pieces marked. Sheffield 1875. Maker Martin Hall & Co, Sheffield.

Literature: There are another two campaign beakers available, #7035 and #7036 with almost identical engraving. However they have different sizes, dates and makers. Possibly these beakers have come from a large set which has been added to over a large period of time.
