An excellent quality antique sterling silver mounted decanter. The cut glass bottle has beautifully engraved panels and a cut star base. The silver neck mount is engraved with vine tendrils and mounted with applied vine leaves. The cast silver stopper is modelled as a cherub holding a bunch of grapes. Height 26 cms, 31.25 (to the top of the stopper). London 1842. Maker John Figg.
