Description

A charming antique sterling silver bowl with an applied wire rim and raised on a spreading foot. Good size. Very plain styling and excellent original colour. To one side there is a hand engraved crest of a boar and thistle for Burleigh/Burley of Carrigfergus, County Antrim.

Marks. Stamped with a clear set of full English silver hallmarks. Underneath the bowl there is a scratch weight and owners initials “MF”.

This handsome bowl is in good condition. The hand engraved crest is still sharp. There is one very mini bruise on the top edge, scarcely visible.
