    Of sporting interest. An antique silver beaker of tapering form, the lower body is embossed and chased all round with a boar hunting scene. Small size. Gilded to the top rim, base and interior. Contains 150 ml. Weight 57 grams, 1.8 troy ounces. Height 8.9cm. Diameter 7.5c, (top), 4.4cm (base). Stamped underneath with Swedish silver marks for Sundersvall. Maker J.P Modin. Circa 1750.

    9793 Georgian Silver Wine Cooler by Paul Storr

    Of racing interest. A magnificent antique silver gilt wine cooler by the world famous English silversmith Paul Storr. Elegant classical style with Campana urn form; the twin handles mounted with Bacchanalian face masks. The lift off cover has a finial in the form of a wrythen fluted flower seed with petal surround. Embossed to the front in low relief is a charming scene of horses relaxing and socialising. The reverse has an applied laurel wreath containing an engraved inscription for Newcastle Upon Tyne Stewards 1817. Weight 3718 grams, 119 troy ounces. Height 38cm. London 1809. Made by Paul Storr and retailed by Rundell Bridge and Rundell. Sterling silver.

    Of sporting interest. A magnificent antique sterling silver tea kettle (also known as a samovar or hot water kettle) with a scene of horses hunting to hounds. The kettle is all over decorated with flowers, foliage, scrolls and cast borders. It has a pretty flower lid finial and folding ivory handle. The matching silver tea kettle stand has an ornate cast and pierced frieze with flowers and leaves; the integral burner has a detachable cap to insert the oil and wick. An excellent piece with heavy gauge silver and good colour. Hand engraved to the top of the burner is a stag crest. Contains 1400 ml. Total weight 1945 grams, 62.5 troy ounces. Total height 31.5cm (to top of handle), 23cm (to top of kettle). London 1825. Makers Benjamin Smith and Richard Sibley.

    Of sporting interest. An excellent quality two handled gilt silver cup with an embossed hunting scene depicting huntsmen, hounds and stags. Compact size. The raised handles are cast in the form of a dog’s head. Weight 327 grams, 10.5 troy ounces. Spread 16cm. Diameter 10cm. Height 8.8cm, 10cm (to top of handles). London 1900. Maker Wakely and Wheeler. Sterling silver. 18th century.
