A handsome antique sterling silver chamberstick with plain classic styling and gadroon borders. Excellent quality and good gauge silver as you'd expect from this world famous English silversmith. The matching candle snuffer and nozzle are detachable. Each piece is hand engraved with a matching bee hive crest. Underneath there is a presentation inscription in old fashioned script to Jonathan Brundrett of the Inner Temple. Weight 450 grams, 14.4 troy ounces. Height 19 cms. Diameter 15.5 cms. London 1823. Maker Paul Storr.

Signed/Inscribed: Inscription reads "In token of Grateful and Friendly remembrance of Mrs Sarah Cook, late of Brighton, who died on the 11th June 1834, to Jonathan Brundrett Esq. of the Inner Temple."
