A superb and very rare antique sterling silver teapot with matching stand by the partnership of Paul Storr with William Frisbee. This elegant example of Storr's first work is of excellent quality as you'd expect from the world famous English silversmith. Simple classic design with oval cylindrical shape and pretty bright cut engraving all over. Both teapot and stand bear a decorative cartouche containing a stag crest. Teapot – weight 471 grams, 15.1 troy ounces, contains 900 ml, height 15cms, spread 26.5 cms, base 14.4 x 9.7 cms. Stand - weight 190 grams, 6.1 troy ounces. length 17.5 cms, width 13.2 cms, height 1.8 cms. London 1792. Maker Paul Storr and William Frisbee. This was Paul Storr's first mark entered in partnership with Frisbee and only lasted from 1792-1793.
