An early English silver cream jug having a pitcher shape with shaped handle and ring base. Small size silver cream jugs without lids were only introduced in the 1720's so this is a very early example. Excellent colour. Contains 75 ml. Weight 77 grams, 2.4 troy ounces. Height 7.3 cms (to top of handle). Spread across top 6.75 cms. Sterling silver. London 1728. Maker George Greenhill.
