How do I calculate shipping costs when purchasing an item from your gallery?
We include the cost of shipping your item fully insured until it reaches your door.
Do I have to pay UK taxes or VAT on the items listed on your gallery?
Antiques are not subject to VAT or additional taxes in the UK and in many other countries worldwide. Please check your own country’s import regulations as all import duties and local taxes are payable by the purchaser.
What is the most cost effective method to pay for an item?
We offer Paypal, credit and debit card facilities which all incur commission charges. Our preferred method, particularly from overseas clients, is always bank transfer following receipt of our invoice.
What happens if I receive an item that is not as described or damaged in some way?
You would be entitled to a full no quibble refund upon safe return of those goods. Based on our expertise however we would always use best endeavours to ensure this situation never arose.
Do you carry out insurance valuations?
Please note that we do not provide this service and do not wish to be contacted in this respect, either by email or phone. We will however offer limited advice to personal visitors to our shop premises
