A fancy pair of antique silver plated wine/champagne buckets in the form of baskets full of grapes. Exceptional quality and heavy castings. Removable interior liners. Height 22 cms. Diameter 28 cms. Stamped round the edge of the base with makers marks for Elkington Mason and their date stamp for 1853.

3644. Magnificent Antique Neoclassical Campana Urn.
This is a stunning decorative item. A large 19th century heavy bronze pedestal cistern – a copy of an ancient Greek vase and similar to the famous Warwick vase. The body is decorated with faces in high relief and supported by 2 massive and ornamental wrythen handles. It’s size makes it ideal for many uses – cooler, jardinière, vase, table centrepiece etc. Circa 1860.

A rare lot. A magnificent pair of early 19th century sterling silver wine coolers with detachable tops and removable liners. Beautifully decorated with leaf and scroll motifs and bearing a crest. Height 27.5 cms. Diameter of top 23 cms. Weight 180 troy ounces approx the pair. The coolers and tops dated London 1836 by John Figg. The contemporary liners are in old Sheffield plate.
