A good antique silver plated tea service comprising teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The set is decorated all round with embossed flowers and leaves, the pots having a pretty bird finial to the top. The jug and bowl retain the original gilding. Circa 1880.

This antique presentation tea set makes a fantastic show. The serpentine and ribbed can shape is excellent and the engraved decoration of swags with flowers and leaves is absolutely charming. The cream jug and sugar bowl retain the original gilding. The hot water kettle bears an inscription. Circa 1890. Electroplated.
