3257. Victorian Decorative Louis Style Silver Kettle on Stand.

A good medium size antique silver tea kettle with embossed all over decoration of flowers, leaves and scrolls. The cast and pierced silver base is very pretty. This is a classic Louis style with the face of a man underneath the spout. The kettle is hinged to the base by 2 removable silver pins on a chain. Height 37.5 cms. Weight 53 troy ounces. All pieces are silver with exception of the burner which is silver plated. London 1894. By Charles Stuart Harris.

A magnificent antique sterling silver kettle with matching stand and burner, all crested. Of heavy quality and fine decoration the kettle is particularly appealing because of the spout shaped in the form of a duck’s head and a decorative frieze around the bottom of the body showing ducks on a lily pond. A unique piece, full of fine ornamental features, figures to the handle, body, spout and base. Scratch weight 92 troy ounces. Height 42 cms. London 1745. Maker K.E (William Kidney?).

A lovely quality and very decorative antique sterling silver kettle with cane wrapped swing handle. The kettle, with ornamental mounts and deep engraving to the body, stands on a matching base with cast mounts, splay feet and an integral burner. Height 37 cms. London 1752.

1937. Art Nouveau Style Silver Kettle by Elkington

A large size Edwardian sterling silver tea kettle in the art nouveau style. The body chased with a lady’s head with flowing hair and other motifs typical of that decorative style. The kettle stands on its matching silver base and silver burner. Height 42 cms. Weight 82 troy ounces. Birmingham 1903. Maker Elkington and Co.

Elegant silver plated hot water kettle of circular form in a classical design engraved with Greek key pattern decoration. The kettle, attached to the base with pins and chains, is warmed by the fitted spirit burner. Height 38 cms. Made in England, circa 1880.

Very impressive Louis design hot water kettle embellished with chased flowers and foliage. The melon shaped body is surmounted by a shaped carrying handle and leaf finial. 1762. Georgian Scottish Silver Tea Urn.

A very pretty tea urn in sterling silver with fine engraved borders and armorial detail, the sides embellished with lions mask carrying handles and topped by a pineapple finial. This samovar bears matching silver marks to all pieces and comes complete with original silver liner and iron heating rod. Height 54.5 cms. Weight 98 troy ounces. Edinburgh 1802.

A tall and elegantly styled tea samovar of plain design raised on 4 tapering reeded legs with classical mounts to the top and toe. There is an armorial engraved to the centre of an knight in armour over a crown. Height 40 cms. Old Sheffield Plate (replated). Circa 1800.

An extremely pretty antique old Sheffield plate tea urn engraved with classical motifs typical of the late 18th century. With lions mask handles and carved ivory finial. There is an inscription to the base dated 1787. Height 46 cms. Diameter of opening 27 cms. Circa 1780.
