5672. George I Silver Footed Tazza

A dainty little early silver salver or paton raised on a foot and having a very plain simple design. There is a crest of a deer engraved to the top. Very good colour. Weight 135 grams, 4.3 troy ounces. Height 4.5 cms. Diameter 14 cms. London 1723. Maker Mary Rood.

4628. William and Mary Antique Silver Tazza

A fine early silver footed salver with a thick gadroon border. There is an armorial engraved to the centre. The base engraved with initials in old script. Weight 8.5 troy ounces. Diameter 21 cms. Height 5 cms. London 1691. The foot stamped with lion only. Makers monogram TD – see Jacksons page 141.
