A very fine antique sterling silver wine cooler with cast grape and vine leaf border and magnificent decorative detail throughout. Removable liner and cover, all original and fully stamped with matching silver stamps. There is a crest and motto engraved to the front. Weight 3375 grams, 108.5 troy ounces. Height 33 cms. 5483. Magnificent Antique Neoclassical Campana Urn

This is a stunning decorative item. A large 19th century heavy bronze pedestal cistern - a copy of an ancient Greek vase and similar to the famous Warwick vase. The body is decorated with faces in high relief and supported by 2 massive and ornamental wrythen handles. Its size makes it ideal for many uses - cooler, jardiniere, vase, table centrepiece etc. Circa 1860. Silver plated with gilt interior.

A rare lot. A magnificent pair of early 19th century sterling silver wine coolers with detachable tops and removable liners. Beautifully decorated with leaf and scroll motifs and bearing a crest. Height 27.5 cms. Diameter of top 23 cms. Weight 180 troy ounces approx the pair. The coolers and tops dated London 1836 by John Figg. The contemporary liners are in old Sheffield plate.
