6190. George II Silver Mug

An excellent quality early antique tankard of plain baluster shape with simple scroll handle. Good size and thick gauge of silver. Uninscribed. Weight 382 grams, 12.2 troy ounces. Height 12 cms. Diameter 8.5 cms (top), 9.5 cms (base). London 1733. Maker Richard Gurney and Thomas Cooke. Also engraved to the base are some contemporary initials.
