An excellent pair of antique sterling silver sauce boats with matching covers and having cast silver mounts with shell and foliate decoration. Each bears an interesting presentation inscription to John Croal, colonial commissioner of compensation for British Guiana. Weight 2057 grams, 66.1 troy ounces. Length 20 cms. Width 14.5 cms.
