An extensive canteen of antique sterling silver cutlery for 12 people in the popular Old English pattern. 84 pieces including a full set of dinner and dessert knives. Weight excluding knives 2311 grams, 74.3 troy ounces. Spoons and forks all the same date London 1827. Mixed makers.

Knives.

There is a full set of antique knives. 12 dinner knives and 12 dessert knives.

These have been fitted with a new matching set of stainless steel blades some time in the past which are in excellent condition.

The sterling silver handles are robust and usable but show signs of wear and old repairs. Most of the silver marks are worn and those which can be made out are for London 1825.

All London 1827. Makers - 6 by ME over ME, 4 by TCS, 1 by HH, 1 by WW. Length 19 cms.

Dinner spoons

All London 1827. Makers - 12 by WC. Length 22 cms.

Teaspoons

All London 1827. Makers - 6 by WC, 4 by JHI, 2 by WE. Length 14 cms.
