An excellent quality antique sterling silver tray with a large armorial coat of arms engraved to the centre. Classical design with oval shape and simple gadroon border. Weight 2216 grams, 71.2 troy ounces. Length 49 cms. Width 36 cms. Spread across handles 59 cms. London 1789. Maker John Carter.
