A large and imposing antique sterling silver rose bowl on pedestal foot with shaped flared top and deep chased all over decoration of swirls and leaves. Traces of original gilding to the inside. To one side there is an engraved greyhound. Weight 2208 grams, 71 troy ounces. Height 22 cms. Diameter 32 cms. London 1891. Maker C F Hancock & Co.
