It’s unusual to find one of these in sterling silver. An antique shell shaped sterling silver spoon warmer with plain decoration, a rocky base and rising lid.  Weight 711 grams, 22.8 troy ounces. Height 13 cms (top of handle). Spread 17 cms. Marked on all pieces. London 1890. Maker John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
