5590. Pair of Antique Italian Silver Salts

A pair of decorative antique silver salt pots with removable gilt silver bowls. Very ornate with classical motifs, lions mask heads and garlands, these salts make a very fine show. Weight 248 grams, 8 troy ounces. Height 6.5 cms. Diameter 7.5 cms. All pieces marked with Italian silver marks for Rome. 18th century. Small signs of wear.
