5553. Charles II Silver Lidded Tankard A rare early English silver flat top lidded tankard in sterling silver with a scroll handle having a decorative thumb piece. To the front is a crisp armorial engraved in the style of that period. An excellent example of early hand beaten silver with lots of character. Weight 652 grams, 20.9 troy ounces. Height 15.5 cms.
