5411. Victorian Silver Wine Jug

A tall and shapely antique sterling silver wine ewer with good quality engraving and original gilt interior. To the front and back there are engraved angels. To the front there is an inscription in Latin and to the back there is an engraved coat of arms. Weight 818 grams, 26.3 troy ounces. Height to top of handle 33.5 cms. London 1859. Maker George Angell.
