5396. South American Parcel Gilt Wine Ewer

A handsome and very heavy quality sterling silver wine jug having gilt interior and parcel gilt finish to the exterior. Weight 1155 grams, 37.1 troy ounces. Height 31.5 cms. Marked on the back of the handle with Mexican silver stamps and maker’s mark for Tane, Orfevres, Mexico City. Circa 1960.
