A fantastically large and imposing item. An excellent heavy quality antique sterling silver tankard by the highly regarded maker Stephen Smith. Beautifully engraved all over and having an presentation inscription to one side. Weight 2146 grams, 69 troy ounces. Height 33.5 cms. Diameter of base 20.5 cms. London 1868. Maker Stephen Smith of the Goldsmiths Alliance.
