3220. Antique Indian Colonial Silver and Stone Set Box
Made by Hamilton and Co, Calcutta this attractive oval sterling silver box was made in circa 1840. It has obvious Scottish associations from the original inscription, the stone inset top and also the thistle pattern engraved around the lid. Weight 10 troy ounces. Height 6 cms. Width 14 cms.
