3132. Antique Augsburg Silver Dish.
An early piece of continental hallmarked silver dating back to the late 17th century. Attractively decorated with a woodland scene and a young man playing a musical instrument. Weight 6 troy ounces approx. Diameter 20 cms. Among the many continental silver stamps there is the town mark for Augsburg and maker’s mark for Johannes Mittenacht dating the dish to circa 1671.
