The quality and workmanship of this antique sterling silver wine cup ensemble need to be seen in real life. Of graceful proportions, and large enough to hold a wine bottle if desired, the cup is ornamented with a deep band of cast vine leaf and grape detail which is echoed in the delightful finial on top. The 2 double rope handles are delicately intertwined culminating in acanthus leaf mounts above a pedestal foot. The punch ladle is equally fine with similar decoration to both sides.
