This handsome 18th century sterling silver inkstand is decorated with shell and gadroon borders, pierced ornamental feet and a pen tray to either side. The 2 faceted crystal ink bottles and matching sander have sterling silver mounts and sit inside delicately pierced silver galleries. Length 31 cms. Depth 20 cms. Scratch weight 30 troy ounces.
