2034. Magnificent Figural Regency Silver Lidded Tankard
A fine example of a decorative silver gilt tankard dating from the beginning of the 19th century. In mint original condition, it weighs an amazing 59 troy ounces. Around the body and on the lid there are crisp bacchanalian scenes in deep relief. Height 19 cms. London 1813. Made by William Elliot.
