1779. 19th Century German Silver Menorah.
This is a very good item. A German silver hallmarked and partial gilt menorah of impressive size decorated with 2 recumbent lions and chased flower detail. The oil and flame jugs repeat the face details shown on the oil receptacles which are modelled in the form of mythical animals. Can also be used with candles. Height 29 cms. Width 32 cms. Weight 52 troy ounces. Circa 1880.
