3127. Georgian Silver Canteen in Mahogany Box.

This is a very good lot. A complete 65 piece canteen of antique sterling silver cutlery for 12 persons, with serving pieces, all contained in a Georgian brass bound mahogany box with removable trays. The old English pattern cutlery, although composite dates and makers, is all London made, matching and in good condition. The knives are later date, approx 15 years old.

In fine condition, a complete 12 place setting canteen of feather edge pattern cutlery comprising 12 teaspoons, 12 dessert spoons, 12 serving spoons, 12 dessert forks, 12 dinner forks and 2 sauce ladles. 62 pieces. Weighs 126 troy ounces approx. Made in Birmingham in 1889 by F.Elkington.
