A good quality antique sterling silver coffee pot of baluster shape, having a turned wooden handle and acorn finial. Weight 839 grams, 27 troy ounces. Height 25.5 cms. Spread 19.5 cms. Diameter of base 11.25 cms. London 1762. Maker Sam Wood. Lid with lion mark only.

An antique sterling silver coffee pot of small size having straight tapering sides and plain style. To the front there is an engraved crest within a decorative cartouche. Weight 483 grams, 15.5 troy ounces. Height 19.5 cms. London 1743. Maker Humphrey Payne. Marks rubbed but easily identifiable.

5641. Antique Silver Coffee Biggin by Paul Storr

A fine and rare Georgian sterling silver coffee jug on matching stand by the world famous silversmith Paul Storr. Typical of his style the coffee pot has a double ivory handle with the base ending in twin serpent tails and the top in a serpent's head resting on a pair of wings.

There is an armorial engraved to the front with the motto “Fortis in Ardus”. Weight 1743 grams, 56 troy ounces. Total height 27 cms. Coffee jug height 21 cms, stand height 10 cms. London 1810. Maker Paul Storr.

This is a very fine and rare early antique silver coffee pot from the reign of Queen Anne. This beautiful pot is made from Britannia standard grade silver and has the desirable octagonal shape with domed lid. Lovely plain style.
