5805. Antique Russian Silver Cigarette Case with Combination Vesta and Lighter
A handsome silver cigarette case with smart striped decoration. In the top there is an integral vesta case with a separate striker partition. To one side there is a wick holder with a propelling wheel. Original gilt interior. Weight 182 grams, 5.8 troy ounces. Length 10.5 cms. Width 6.25 cms. Stamped inside with Russian silver stamps and dated 1887.

A delightful after dinner conversation piece. A charming little sterling silver tractor with movable wheels and detachable back door. To use as a table lighter just fill the well with oil and put the wick in the chimney. The back compartment, which is gilded inside, can be used for matches, cigarettes, small cigars etc. Weight 98 grams, 3.1 troy ounces. Length 9 cms. Width 3.5 cms (4.5 cms including wheels).
