Around the body there is a hand engraved leaf and scroll decoration containing three exquisite quality vignettes of old testament bible scenes. The foot is decorated with a stamped bead and flower ornament. Contains 700 ml. Weight 187 grams, 6 troy ounces. Height 18 cm. Diameter of top 10.9 cm. Frankfurt, Germany c.1700. The covers are hand engraved to the front and back with a bugle crest. The bases have a matching armorial hand engraved to the front. Exceptional weight 5359 grams, 172.3 troy ounces.
