A full set of sterling silver cutlery for 8 people in the popular Fiddle pattern. Good plain style. Total 40 pieces. Weight 2009 grams, 64.5 troy ounces. All pieces matching and by the well regarded flatware maker George Adams. Different dates London 1837-74.

Biography - George Adams was married to Mary Chawner and was the last in the Chawner dynasty of silversmiths. He was the most prolific maker of spoons and cutlery in his time and often designed his own patterns. Whatever he made was of excellent quality.

Condition - This complete set of sterling silver flatware is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. All pieces have full English silver hallmarks for London 1837-74, same maker George Adams. The fork prongs are all very usable.
